Manuel Flores Paragon BJJ Black Belt
Manuel Flores is a black belt under Ricardo Franjinha Miller.
Manuel comes from an extensive competitive background in Kickboxing, wrestling and Brazilian Jiu-jitsu. Manuel has medaled in IBJJF Tournaments such as Masters Worlds, Pan Ams and US Nationals along with winning many AZBJJF tournaments throughout his years as a practitioner. Manuel also competed in Battle of the Badges and Rage in the Cage where he won his matches.
Manuel is an active member of a police department in Arizona where he serves as a Sergeant. He is a certified defensive tactics instructor. His passion is to teach ground survival to Law Enforcement officers throughout the state. In 2016 he ran private sessions for the Marana police department and for a DEA special task force focusing on ground survival and weapon retention.

Philip Aguilar Paragon BJJ Black Belt
Phillip Aguilar is a great competitor with many regional IBJJF titles, NAGA titles and an extensive MMA record with many of his wins coming by submissions. Phillip has a very dynamic style of fighting making him a favorite of the students to learn from.
Brenda Soto Paragon BJJ Brown Belt
Brenda Soto is one of the head coaches for Daimyo BJJ and the head instructor for our Women only program Daimyo Girls. Brenda has won regional IBJJF titles along with Grappling X title in which she had to compete against male competitors. A few years ago Brenda decided to start a Jiujitsu program where kids could start practicing at a younger age than most programs allow, she developed the program Tiny Warriors in which kids ages 4 to 6 years old can start practicing and learning self defense along with discipline and build their self confidence.
Brenda splits her time between teaching BJJ and helping raise awareness in the community with mental health issues and assisting them with resources to have a better life.
